secret santa party!

last night was our secret santa party!

yay super fun!

we began the night with kaysie and sarah doing every one's hair! then we all gathered in our living room to set up the christmas tree and drink sparkling grape juice! yummy! after angie and caroline arrived we began the opening of the presents! i went first, my secret santa was julie i gave her a little glass box and a very sweet little journal with a bird on it :-) taylor thompson had me i received a really cool scarf, a cool little green mug, and this amazing planner with black and white photographs of NY :-) the biggest surprise of the night was when sarah slice gave kaysie wessy her present! it was a DISNEY PRINCESS TENT! it was so much fun. afterwards we all went to olive garden yay! i would have to say that this was probably the most successful secret santa party ever!

THE 1ST

So this is the 1st

i don't really know what to expect out of this whole blogging thing but whatev. i am hoping that this will give me some kind of therapeutic pleasure but we shall see. i guess that i began thinking about blogging because of my dear friend sarah she is just very hip so this just might be an effort to be hip, i don't know. this has just been one helluva year (like the chip dip just less yummy). between the never ceasing bad news around every corner and frustration opening every door i am able to rely on something so unshakable something so strong that even death cannot defeat it. the sweet love of God, that constant reassurance is what comforts me in times of distress and reminds me that i can probably make it till new years ;-)
